Assessment Lessons have two objectives:
- The first is to evaluate your current riding level and fitness.
- The second is a “trial” for you to get to know the coach and experience a lesson.
An Assessment Lesson takes approximately 1.5 hours. You will be met by a coach or staff member and shown where horses and equipment are located. You will be assisted in preparing for class; grooming & tacking up.
The mounted portion is approximately 45 minutes. It is an introductory lesson that will review terminology, correct your position, and will simulate what a class would be like at your ability.
After the mounted portion, you will be assisted in untacking and putting the horse away.
A follow-up conversation with the coach will explain your assessment and offer suggestions for you at Myrddin.
The fee for the Assessment Lesson is $113.00 (HST included).
If you sign up for a semester of lessons, that fee will be reimbursed on your first invoice.
